Mocha Joe’s is dedicated to creating the finest roasted coffee. They continually cup new coffees from all over the world in order to select the best crops. They roast their coffees in small batches at their down-town Brattleboro, Vermont facility. The coffee comes from farms at altitudes of over 4000 feet. This is where the highest quality Arabica coffees are grown. Traditional farming methods are predominantly used, incorporating shade trees and sustainable agricultural practices. The coffee is always fresh. It’s roasted 3 to 4 times a week and once roasted it is brewed within ten days. Sip’s coffee is not flavored. Freshly brewed coffee has an aroma and flavor that is both distinctive and delicious. This flavor varies greatly depending on the region the bean is grown. We encourage you to enjoy the subtleties of each bean

For this dark and rich Costa Rican we use the La Magnolia estate coffee offered by La Minita. A Tarrazu region coffee, La Magnolia is grown high in the central mountains of Costa Rica and milled and prepared to the strictest standards. These coffees are prized for their high notes and the bright citrus or berry-like flavors in the acidity. Since the bean is of a harder density than most, we are able to take it to a dark rich roast that is a favorite amongst our French roast fans. This coffee is perfect for anyone that likes intense, smoky full flavored coffee.

This Organic Peruvian is decaffeinated with the CO2 process for a full, lively, light bodied coffee with gentle acidity. We find the CO2 process to be the most environmentally friendly, and due to its selective process doesn't alter the carbohydrates and proteins of the coffee bean which give it its taste. Simply put, this decaf just tastes more like "real" coffee, and avoids the chemicals used in other decaf processes. Try it and see.

All real tea has caffeine in it. Reducing caffeine content should not be a hindrance to enjoying great tea, and decaffeinating our full-leaf teas can easily be done. Since caffeine is water soluble, simply steep the tea for 45 seconds in hot water and then pour off the liquid. Next, add hot water and steep in the manner you would normally use to brew a cup of that tea. Up to 80% of the caffeine will be released into the brief infusion of water; the subsequent infusions well have minimal amounts of caffeine.

White Peony (White tea)
A White tea also known as “Bai Mudan”, which consists of buds and leaves. We find this tea sweet and mild, yet very full-bodied. Like all White teas, White Peony is very low in caffeine. This tea is minimally processed; after picking, the leaves and buds are simply steamed and air dried. For best flavor, use a long steep time.

Jasmine Pearls (Green tea)
These wonderfully fragrant pearls are soothing to drink and magical to watch as they slowly unfurl into beautiful leaf and bud sets. Crafted from spring picked southern Chinese green tea and fresh Jasmine blossoms, each individual pearl is set of 3 to 4 tender silvery leaf buds, carefully rolled and then dried amidst fresh Jasmine blossoms.

Earl Grey (Black tea)
Our Earl Grey starts as a full leaf, single estate, Ceylon Orange Pekoe. We add Pure Bergamot oil by hand to insure an intensity of flavor. Earl Grey is for those who really love Bergamot and great tea.

Pu-erh Tea (Black tea)
It’s a strong and hearty tea from the remote Yunnan Province, China. Definitely different than all other True Teas. The flavor is intense. Pu-erh is the base tea used in Tibetan Yak Butter tea. Tea that is a critical energy source while herding yak at 15,000 ft. above sea level. It works pretty well at lower altitudes as well – even without the butter, salt, and yak.

Chamomile (Herbal infusions)
Organic Whole Chamomile flowers imported from Egypt. This tea presents with the color of bright afternoon desert sunshine and the hardy aroma of honey. A soothing choice for those who are sensitive to caffeine.
